Description & Process
A comprehensive eye exam provides an in-depth assessment of your vision and overall eye health. This evaluation encompasses tests such as visual acuity measurement, refraction to determine glasses prescriptions, and assessments of eye muscle coordination. The optometrist may also measure intraocular pressure to screen for glaucoma. Utilizing specialized equipment, they will examine both the front and back of your eyes. In some cases, diagnostic drops may be applied to ensure accurate diagnosis and management of various ocular conditions. At the conclusion of the exam, the results will be discussed with you, along with any recommendations for treatment or further follow-up.
